Regent has proved its capability by successfully installing the Ring Main Units on plinths, Pole structures and existing switch rooms of Consumers in the congested city of Kolkata having a dense network and shortage of space.

Scope of activities involved in the installation of Ring Main Units are ----

• Inspection & Selection of Site
• Construction of Plinth / Fixing of Base Frame for RMU on the existing Pole Transformer Structure, below the Pole Transformer.
• Transportation of Ring Main Units from Stores to Site
• Installation of RMUs on Plinths / Pole Structures etc.
• Earthing of RMU body
• Cable Termination of the RMU and connecting it to the existing network by Straight Through Joints (both XLPE to XLPE and PILC to XLPE)
• Testing & Commissioning of RMUs
